First day on the job.

Well day one went well. It was a bit hard to start with because of my lack of good Spanish. But once I got behind the brush cutter and cleared the plot they seemed a lot happier with this stranger.

I also had my first Spanish lesson with a very nice young teacher. I still have a long way to go.

A weekend in the city of Buenos Aires

I'm starting to get use to the late dinner and then go out bit over here. I met some Australian's and we all went dancing with friends of Juan. They tried to teach me the local steps, it was a good night. Got in at five am.

Tonight we went out for my first streak dinner here and yes it was great. Then we walked the city at night, very nice.

Home for next five weeks.

Well I made it here and this is my great host Juan. The accommodation is nice and very comfortable. I had my intro meeting today and I was very impressed by the down to earth approach they have.
Jet lag stating to set in so not sure how long I will last at the dinner tonight.

START

Leaving tonight.... hard to say goodbye to you all but I know this will be worth it. Bought a ticket for the long way round, two bottles of whisky for the way, and I sure would like some sweet company, I'm leavin tonight what do you say?

Ten Days To Go

Well it is not long now till I climb on board the big sky bus to my adventure in South America.  I can't wait....
