Bolivia part two.

So yes we made it to Potosi and made the bus to Uyuni. Like a town from the wild West. We then went out onto the salt flats.
Nice hey.

Sunrise

The view from the top of a very high mountain.
And yes I did climb it! Bloody long way. It was a volcano to. Then a flight to LA Paz.
The city in the hill.

I liked the old buses.

Local dress.
Then on to lake Titikaka. Very nice and I even got to have a sail on the lake with an old man of the lake. We enjoyed the wind together.

I made it to the top of this one too.

It was a long walk across the island.

Yes another sunset.
And sunrise the next day.

Thus was the nice little town of Copacabana.
Very nice place to chill out.
Next stop Peru!

Bolivia

Wow! What a beautiful country.. The people are so friendly and try to do there best to help you. It started in Santa Cruz.
Great street art

Very strong Catholicism

Even got to a concert.

Then flew to Sucre. Very nice place indeed. Put this one on the list if planing a trip here.
Lots of parks and they use them.

Very grand old buildings.

Cute and tidy streets.
Only had one night here then off to Potosi to get a bus to Uyuni. We did the share a car to get to Potosi. Met a Kiwi and a Pom. Both called Andy so yes they were Andy 1 and Andy 2. Great guys.
But on the way the locals had put up a barricade in protest to the lac of infrastructures. So we had to get out and walk for an hour with our packs to get across it. Fun!
Trying to read the demands

Yep me loaded up.

The Andy's on the Andies

Sunset in Potosi

The local museum.

Saying goodbye to Argentina

Back to Buenos Aires for two days.
First one I had to say goodbye to the friends I made and had the pleasure of working with for such a short time.

Thank you Mi Amigos for a very enlightening time and a chance to get to know some amazing people! You and your work will always be close to my heart.

Then second day  we went to Uruguay for a look, very nice quite place.
How to get around!

 They even discount money....

But over all Colonia is a very sleepy beach side old town.  With lots of history.

Iguazu

One of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen. I totally lost myself here to the majestic nature.

1750cubic metres of water per second.

Nice hey! Stayed with a funny guy who was very helpful.

Mendoza

What a nice place. People are reel down to earth country folk.
Went to several wineries.

Had a great lunch with a local family and my two Ausy amigos. The Goat was cooked in the ground over hit rocks for four hours.
And the wine was just fantastic!
The mountain's gave me a real sense of how small we are in this world.
This is all snow in winter.
